Obituary of Ralph Oelrichs

  Ralph Ivan Oelrichs, 92, of Sterling died Wednesday November 22, 2023 at Citadel of Sterling. Ralph was born May 12, 1931 in Sterling the son of Eibo and Marie (Matznick) Oelrichs. Ralph married Phyllis Frank on June 15, 1952 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sterling. Phyllis preceded Ralph in death on March 3, 2013. 

   Ralph is survived by two sons Mark (Sally) Oelrichs, and John Oelrichs both of Sterling; five grandchildren Jakob Oelrichs, Adam Oelrichs, John Oelrichs, Tristan Oelrichs, and David Oelrichs. 

   He was also preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Phyllis.

   Visitation will be 5PM-7PM Wednesday November 29, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation. Funeral will be 11AM Thursday November 30, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, with Reverend Jacob Gawlik, of St. John’s Lutheran Church, officiating. Cremation will take place after the service, and burial at a later date. 

   A memorial has been established to the Alzheimer’s Association.
