Obituary of Kevin Miller

   Robert “Kevin” Miller, 85, of Sterling died Tuesday November 28, 2023.  Kevin was born January 20, 1938 in Aurora the son of Walter and Zita (Feldott) Miller. He married Gwendolyn Sykes on January 26, 1957 in West Chicago.

   Kevin was a farm hand at Jakobs Brothers Farm for 49 years.

   Kevin is survived by his wife Gwendolyn; one daughter Elizabeth Carr of Peoria; two sons Michael (Billie McAfee) Miller of Springfield, and Paul (Angie) Miller of Dalzall IL; one sister Mary Livelsberger of Moscow ID; three grandchildren Megan (Sean) Reder, Andrew Miller, and Ryan Miller; four great-grandchildren Christopher Miller, Jacob Miller, Oliver Reder, and Emily Schmidt.

   He was preceded in death by his parents; one grand-daughter Erin Schmidt; one grandson Daniel Miller; and one brother Richard Miller.

   Funeral services will be 11AM Monday December 4, 2023 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, in Sterling. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10AM-11AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon. 

   A memorial has been established to Milledgeville Fire Department.
