Obituary of Robert Rodriguez

  Robert Rodriguez, 62, of Rock Falls died Tuesday January 2, 2024 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Robert was born May 3, 1961 in Sterling the son of Raul and Mary Ann (Regalado) Rodriguez. 

   Robert retired from Raynor after 29 years. He volunteered time at the Rock Falls VFW for summertime cookouts.  He enjoyed listening to Rock and Country music, and spending quality time with his grand-daughters.

   Survivors include one son Jake Rodriguez of Rock Falls; one step-daughter Marci Osborn of Sterling; step mother Nicolasa Rodriguez of Sterling; Life partner Marsha Forren of Rock Falls; six brothers Raul Rodriguez Jr. of Sterling, Benito (Linda) Rodriguez of Sterling; Daniel (Teresa) Rodriguez of Sterling, Richard Rodriguez of Sterling, Tony Rodriguez of Sterling, and Ruben (Jessica) Rodriguez of FL; two grand-daughters Ezra Rodriguez of Sterling, and Mila Rodriguez of Rock Falls; three step grandchildren Mallory Osborn, Maddux Osborn, and Jack Osborn all of Sterling.

   Robert was preceded in death by his parents Raul (MaryAnn) Rodriguez.

   Cremation rites have been entrusted to Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
