Obituary of Lloyd Whitlock

LLOYD D. WHITLOCK ROCK FALLS- Lloyd D. Whitlock, 79, died, Monday, March 4, 2013 at his home. He was a purchasing manager for the RB & W, Rock Falls for forty-four years, prior to retirement in 1995. Lloyd was born October 28, 1933 in Rock Falls, the son of Robert and Marie (Anderson) Whitlock. He married Beverly Reynolds on January 21, 1951 in Sterling. She preceded him in death on April 8, 1995. Survivors include four daughters, Micendra Whitlock of Rock Falls, Michelle Bohms of Morrison, Micarla (Louis) DeShane of Prophetstown and Miconna (Dave) Hoovler of Wentzville, MO; one son, Michael (Caryla) Whitlock of Fulton; nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one sister Lois Dexter and one brother, Donald Whitlock. Prayer service will be held at 11 AM Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Schilling Funeral Home, with Reverend Jeff Coester, pastor of First Congregational Church of Sterling, officiating. Burial of cremains will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. There will be no visitation. A memorial had been established to Passages Hospice. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneralhome.com.
