Obituary of Linda Dir

  Linda Kay Dir, 76, of Sterling, died Sunday May 19, 2024 at Rock River Hospice and Home in 

Sterling. Linda was born July 16, 1947 the daughter of Robert and Virginia (Fridley) Easley.

   Linda was a beautician in Sterling for 56 years. She was very involved with her church. She traveled to Jamaica many times. Linda was a cat lover, a member of Kiwanis, a bell ringer for the Salvation Army and walked a lot. 

   Survivors include one brother Jeff (Lynette) Easley of Asheville NC; one nephew Aaron (Rachel) Easley of Hendersonville TN.

    Linda was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Kathy.

   Funeral services will be 11AM Thursday May 23, 2024 at The Open Door Community Church in Sterling, with Pastor Daniel Swihart, officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral at church, from 9AM-11AM. Burial will take place at Oak Knoll Memorial Park.
