   Lee A. Sandrock, 67, of Sterling died at home Sunday September 8, 2024. Lee was born on July 19, 1957 in Morrison the son of Harry R. and Dorothy (Nelson) Sandrock. He married Dawn Todahl August 16, 1997 in Yorktown IL. 

   Lee worked for Heartland Express in North Liberty IA for over 25 years. He formerly worked at RB&W for many years. He was passionate about guns and a proud member of the NRA. The second love of his life was a gun named Elvira.

   Survivors include his wife Dawn Sandrock; Children Tonya (Andy) Spencer, Valerie (Ryan) Petty, Alan Sandrock, Billy R. (Lynn) Mills, and Felecia (Vincent) Krause; grandchildren Austin Petty, Addisyn Petty, Beau Spencer, Drew Spencer, Lila Spencer, Blake Siglar, Jade Siglar, Billy Mills, Brenan Mills, Ashton Fisher-Boles, Charlotte Fisher-Boles, Aidyn Fisher, and Layla Rieck; and his beloved dog Bear.

   Lee was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Larry (Joyce) Sandrock, and Loren Sandrock. 

   Celebration of Life will be 1PM Friday September 13, 2024 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling. Visitation will be one hour prior from 12PM-1PM at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded. 

    A memorial has been established.
