Obituary of William Reed

STERLING- William F. Reed, 54, of Sterling died April 12, 2013, after a brief illness. He was employed by National Manufacturing. Mr. Reed was born July 11, 1958 in Sterling, the son of Jack (Alice Vock) Reed. He married Tanya Bartz July 19, 1980 in Sterling. Survivors include his wife Tanya; his mother Alice Reed of Sterling; three daughters Sarah (Jarrod) Johnson, Emily (Ben Spotts) Reed both of Sterling, and Margaret Reed of Tucson AZ; one brother Thomas Reed of Milwaukee, WI; five sisters Dianne Graham of Sterling, Debbie Reed of Aurora, Christine (Albert) Saliba of Herrin, Joan (Mike) Capp of Rock Falls, and Nancy (Jim) Hoffman of West Branch IA; two grandchildren Grace, and Sawyer Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Reed, Paternal grandparents Emmitt (Helen) Reed; maternal grandparents Carl (Margaret) Vock; and a father-in-law Elmer Bartz. The Funeral will be Wednesday April 17, 2013, at 11AM , at Schilling Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Ludeke, of Sacred Heart officiating. Burial is at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling.
