Doris M. Jones Sterling - Doris M. Jones, 78, died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at CGH Medical Center. She lived and worked for many in years in Rockford. Doris was born May 13, 1933 in Pritchett, CO, the daughter of William and Pearl (Felt) Dance. Survivors include one daughter, Judy (Mike) Charleston, of Rock Falls; five sons, Bill Coleman, of Rockford, Don Coleman, of Wisconsin, Bob Coleman, of Arkansas, Scott (Terri) Coleman, of Utah and Mike Coleman, of New Hampshire; two sisters, Daisy Wells and Mona Roush, both of Arkansas; six brothers, Joe Dance, of Michigan, J.W. Clark, Lloyd Clark, J.B. Clark, Jim Clark and Ronnie Clark, all of Arkansas; Daughter In-laws Jean Coleman of Rockford, and Mary Coleman of Rock Falls; 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary Coleman; one sister, Wilma Shirley; two brothers, Bob Dance and Dick Clark; and her step-father, Lloyd Clark. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, November 18, 2011 at Schilling Funeral Home with Joe Puckett, Minister of Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Arkansas. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, Friday, at the Funeral Home, prior to services. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial has been established.
