Obituary of Dorothy Warren

STERLING - Dorothy Ann Warren, 87, of Sterling, died Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Sterling Pavilion. She was employed as an office clerk for several area businesses. Mrs. Warren was born June 15, 1925, in Sterling, the daughter of Walter and Effie (Null) Landis. She was united in marriage to Arvin Warren of Tampico in 1993. He preceded her in death on January 21, 2003. Previously, she was married to Rev. Carl Selman of Peoria in 1963 until his death in 1988. Survivors include her son, Gordon (Bonnie) Kingery, of Rock Falls; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister. Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. There will be no visitation.
