Obituary of Jeffrey Digman

JEFFREY W. DIGMAN STERLING - Jeffrey W. Digman, 49, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 21, 2011. He was the director of nursing at Rock Falls Rehabilitation. Jeffrey was born November 19, 1962 in Sterling, the son of John and Doris Jean (Kaecker) Digman. He was a graduate of Sterling High School Class of 1980 and Sauk Valley Community College in 1993 with an associate's degree in nursing. He married Stephanie Bennett on June 22, 1991 at Bethel Reformed Church in Sterling. Jeffrey was a member of Bethel Reformed Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and children and playing board games with his friends of over 30 years. He also loved spending time with his two dogs Reese and Bubba. Survivors include his wife, Stephanie, of Sterling; one daughter, Jaymee Digman, of Sterling; one son, Johnathan Digman, of Sterling; his mother, Jean, of Sterling; one step-sister, Jill Mueller, of West Chicago; one step-brother, Jan (Shari) Digman, of The Villages, FL; one uncle, Larry (Joyce) Kaecker, of Erie; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John M. Digman; father in-law, Mike Bennett; grandmother, Mildred Kaecker; one aunt, Marilyn Ann Kaecker; and one uncle, Gary Kaecker. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Bethel Reformed Church with Reverend Kenneth Zuithoff, officiating. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Friday, November 25, 2011 at Schilling Funeral Home and 9:30-10:30 AM, Saturday, at the church, prior to services. A memorial has been established.
