WILLIAM "BILL" R. ELLENWOOD, JR. LYNDON - William "Bill" R. Ellenwood, Jr., 61, died Monday, December 26, 2011 at his home. He was employed by Sterling Multi-products for over thirty-four years, retiring as plant manager. William was born December 15, 1950 in Aurora, the son of William and Bernice (Fitzsimons) Ellenwood. He married Donna K. Ingram on June 29, 1991 at the First Congregational Church in Prophetstown. William was a member of the First Congregational Church in Prophetstown. Survivors include his wife, Donna; two daughters, Amy Ingram, of Sterling, and Jennifer (Jay) Shippard, of Tampa, FL; two sons, Troy (Stefanie) Kindle, of Naperville, and Casey (Erin) Kindle of Sterling; his father, William R. (Linda) Ellenwood, of Prophetstown; two sisters, Kathy Gladish and Linda (Donn) Riev, both of La Quinta, CA; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Ellenwood. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, December 30, 2011, at Schilling Funeral Home with Reverend Andrew Ploenske, of First Congregational Church in Prophetstown, officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM, Friday, at the Funeral Home, prior to services. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial has been established.
