Obituary of David Gingerich

DAVID W. GINGERICH ERIE - David W. Gingerich, 84, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Morrison Community Hospital. Mr. Gingerich was a farmer in Ontario, Canada and a member of the Reformed Mennonite Church in Sterling. David was born May 20, 1924, the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Steiner) Gingerich. He married Barbara Steiner on August 2, 1970 in Waynesboro, PA. She preceded him in death on September 21, 2000. He is survived by a daughter, Ann (Max) Friesen of Erie; and one sister, Eileen Steiner of Buffalo, OH. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling. Burial will be at a later date at Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 �" 8 PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.
