DOROTHY ALVERA EBERSOLE STERLING- Dorothy Alvera Ebersole, 95, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison. Dorothy was born January 7, 1914 in Sterling the daughter of Oscar D. and Lottie P. (Detweiler) Book. She married Everett Roy Ebersole on November 21, 1939 in Penrose. He survives. She was a member of Science Ridge Mennonite Church, Sterling. Survivors include four daughters, Nancy (John) Ebersole and Marcia (Bruce) Jackson, both of Sterling, Sharon Graybill of Dakota and Janice (Don) Calsyn of Greenfield, MA; one son, Verne (Marjorie) Ebersole of Middlebury, IN; one brother Merlyn (Joyce) Book, of Sterling; seventeen grandchildren and twenty eight great-granchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Miriam Krabill and Lois Book; three brothers, Nolan, Leland and Orrin Book and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Science Ridge Mennonite Church, Sterling, with the Reverend Arnie Owens and Reverend Dan Rusmissel co-officiating. Burial will be at Science Ridge Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. A memorial has been established.
