Obituary of Hattie Fisher

ROCK FALLS �" Hattie Rosa Fisher, 97, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at her daughter's home in Sterling. She was a teacher in Iowa schools and Thome Grade School in Rock Falls for many years.
Mrs. Fisher was born on February 3, 1912 in Drakesville, IA the daughter of James and Rosa (Hoskins) Bryan.
Survivors include a daughter, Eloise Gould; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceeded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 17, 2009 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established.
