REMI JORI HAWKINS INDIANAPOLIS- Remi Jori Leann Hawkins, died October 8, 2009 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Remi was born September 10, 2009 in Indianapolis. The daughter of Shedrick Hawkins and Beriah Foust Survivors include her parents, Twin sister, Joviana Amara Ruth Hawkins, at home; Maternal grandparents, Pete Foust of Anderson, IN and Jacque and Tom Schroeder of Sterling; Maternal great-grandparents, Sheila Foust of Anderson, IN; Bob and Linnea Cowan of Belmont, TX Rod and Sue Schroeder of Prophetstown and Paternal grandparents, Shedrick Hawkins and Joyce Rushin of Indianapolis, IN; Paternal great-grandparents, Joyce Rushin of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Elesia Hawkins; five brothers, Donte, Shedrick, Tayvion, Xavier Hawkins and Trenton Ramsey; Maternal aunts and uncles, Caprice (Joey) Thompson and Charis Foust, all of Sterling and Gretchen (Brad) Foust of Dixon; Paternal aunts and uncles; Adrien Small, Michael Howard, Brie Jones and Tierney Jones; Maternal cousins, Bryton, Rylee and Joseph Thompson of Sterling and Aidan Buntjer of Dixon; Paternal cousin Ashton Small of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Abiding Word Church, Sterling, with the Reverend Scott Porter, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling.Visitation will be from 9-11 AM, prior to services at the church. A memorial has been established. Services were conducted by the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
