Joyce H. Ebersole, 81, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. She worked at Kroger's Deli for many years. Joyce was born May 1, 1930 in Sterling, the daughter of Robert and Bertha (White) Van Horne. She married Russell P. Ebersole on November 17, 1951. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1993. She later married Charles Ebersole on June 18, 2000. Joyce was a member of Science Ridge Mennonite Church in Sterling. Survivors include her husband, Charles; four daughters, Donna (Denny Bolin) Beard, of Dixon, Christine (Scott) Kuntz, of Chatham, Dorrine (Russell) Evitt, of Williston, ND, and Kathline (Scott) Bilderback, of Boise, ID; one son, Kenneth (Jane) Ebersole, of Sterling; one step-son, Robert Hallock, of Park Ridge; one brother, George Van Horne, of Bradenton, FL; fifteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by stepson, Terry Hallock. Services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Science Ridge Mennonite Church with Pastor Arnold Owens, officiating. Burial will be at the Science Ridge Mennonite Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM, Friday, January 13, 2012 at Schilling Funeral Home. A memorial has been established.
