MR. KENNETH R. WARNER STERLING- Mr. Kenneth R. Warner, 85, died Saturday morning at Walnut Manor in Walnut. Kenneth was employed at National Manufacturing for 35 years before his retirement in 1989. Kenneth Warner was born July 12, 1924 in Rock Falls, the son of Robert and Pauline Schoaf Warner. He married Ethel F. Wechsler on October 27, 1946 in Prairieville, they have enjoyed 63 years of marriage. Mr. Warner served in the U.S.Navy during World War II. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating with his grandchildren. Kenneth was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling, the Loyal Order of Moose-Sterling Lodge #726, and Camping Chapter�"Outaga. He is survived by one son, Terry Warner of Sterling; one daughter, Karen (Allan) Morris of Dixon; five grandchildren, Sara Halter, Renae Warner, Erica Warner, Stephanie McNeal and Kymberly Johnson; and seven great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Warner, Jordin Warner, Kiera Warner, Caitlyn Halter, Haliegh Bennett, Ty Ricketts, and Tori Ricketts; one nephew, Jim Palmer of Wyoming; He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorrine Palmer. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at Schilling Funeral Home. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Dixon. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. A Memorial has been established.
