Obituary of Matthew Alfrejd

MATTHEW W. ALFREJD STERLING- Matthew W. Alfrejd, 32, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at his home. He was an Engineering Technician. Matthew was born March 25, 1977 in Chicago Heights, the son of William and Karen (Westnes) Alfrejd. Survivors include one daughter, Kaylynn Alfrejd of Prophetstown; his parents of Sterling; one sister Jill (Chris Thibaudeau) Alfrejd of Grayslake; one brother, P.J. (April Recinos) of Chicago; one niece; and three nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Church of Christ, Sterling with Merle Heckman, officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday after the memorial service until 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. Arrangements were completed by the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
