LaVONNE C. WELLS
ROCK FALLS �" Mrs. LaVonne C. Wells, 76, died at her home on Saturday morning, December 12, 2009.
LaVonne C. Wells was born March 5, 1933 in Beaver Dam, WI, the daughter of Harold and Olga Bussewitz Falk. She married Edward I. Wells in Dixon on November 16, 1951. She was a member of Abiding Word Church in Sterling.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; three daughters, Lynda Nicholson of New River, AZ, Christine (Ron) Garcia of Davenport, IA, and Tamara (Ron) Montanez of Phoenix, AZ; three sons, Joseph (Teri) Wells, Richard (Marcella) Wells and Thomas Wells all of Sterling; one brother, Roland (Betty) Falk of Dixon; fifteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Schilling Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Porter of Abiding Word Church officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visititation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at Schilling Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established to Abiding Word Church.
