Obituary of Lee Kramer

STERLING �" Mr. Lee Edward Kramer, 85, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at the Illinois Veterans Home in LaSalle, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Kramer was employed at Northwestern Steel & Wire Company for thirty-four years, prior to his retirement in 1992. He also was a retired minister from the Assemblies of God. Mr. Kramer was born November 2, 1924 in Fairhaven, IL the son of William and Nettie (Spinka) Kramer. He married Louise Schneller on July 9, 1960 in Rock Falls. He was a member of Assemblies of God. Lee Kramer is survived by his wife, Louise; two sons, John (Heather) Kramer, of New York, and Paul Kramer, of Chicago; and one sister, Shirley (John) Schneider, of Lanark. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Lucille, Ruth, Helen and Wilma; and four brothers, Ralph, Robert, Herbert, and William Kramer. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 29, 2010, at Rock River Christian Center with Reverend Brian Vickers, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 AM, prior to the funeral service at the church. A memorial has been established.
