Obituary of Lorraine Ewbank

LORRAINE J. EWBANK ROCK FALLS - Lorraine J. Ewbank, 87, died Friday, March 26, 2010 at Transitions Nursing Home, Rock Falls. She was employed as an R.N. in Sterling, and Dixon areas for many years. Lorraine was born August 27, 1922 in Sterling, the daughter of Leroy and Effie (Lange) Wolf. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Sterling. Survivors include two sons, Gary (Laura) Ewbank, of Desert Hot Springs, CA, and Kris (Diedra) Ewbank, of Mesa, AZ; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Lyle Wolf. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Reverend Mark Oehlert and Pastor Dick Hanson, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, Tuesday, prior to services at church. A memorial has been established.
