Obituary of James Leonard

JAMES W. LEONARD ROCK FALLS - Mr. James W. Leonard, 84, died Wednesday, April 07, 2010. James W. Leonard was born on July 27, 1925 in Palmyra, MO, the son of James and Pearl Kemp Leonard. He married Bonnie May Davis in Brookfield, MO on November 27, 1948. She preceded him in death on July 15, 2005. Mr. Leonard served in the U. S. Army during World War II, in the European Theater. He also worked for Frantz Manufacturing for over 30 years. He is survived by one son, Jerry (Diane) Leonard of Rock Falls; one daughter, Connie (Mike) Monnier of Rock Falls; one sister, Edith Sportsman of Linneus, MO; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marge Kramer and Frances Howard. Prayer services will be at 9:30 AM on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Schilling Funeral Home followed by burial at Oak Knoll Memorial Park.
