BONNIE M. MAYBERRY ROCK FALLS- Bonnie M. Mayberry, 79, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at CGH Medical Center. Bonnie was born September 18, 1932 in Mitchel County, KS, the daughter of Lyle and Etta (VanWey) Megli. She married Jesse W. Mayberry on February 14, 1953 in Norfolk, VA. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2000. Bonnie was a member of New Life Lutheran Church, Sterling. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Gail (Thomas) Rider of Naples, FL; three brothers, Roy Dale Megli of Rock Falls, Eugene (Shirley) Megli of Bloomington and Dwight (Patricia) Megli of Harmon; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Lee Baros and one brother in infancy. Services will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, with the Reverend William Sullivan, pastor of New Life Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM Monday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to New Life Lutheran Church, Rock Falls.
