KARIN M. HAAN STERLING - Karin M. Haan, 52, died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at her home after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Karin was born on April 2, 1958 in Morrison, the daughter of Harvey and Sue Sprengelmeyer Haan. She was the finance director at Educators of Beauty. Karin Haan was baptized in the Bethel Reformed Church in Sterling. Karin and Mark loved spending time at there cabin in Wisconsin, boating, fishing, and having fun. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandson Brandon her "Little Buddy". She is survived by her mother, Sue Haan of Sterling; her first love, Mark Kimball; two daughters, Cami (Brett Hutchison) Ingram of Lanark and Demi Ingram of Chattanooga, TN; two sisters, Julie (Ross) Babin of Sterling and Kay (Monte) Eldert of Burlington, WI; one brother, Steve (Jenny) Haan of Sterling; and one grandson, Brandon Hutchison. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Haan. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday at Schilling Funeral Home, with Reverend Kenneth Zuithoff officiating. Cremation and burial will take place at a later Date. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. A Memorial has been established to Hospice of the Rock River Valley.
