Obituary of Lola Connell

LOLA WEAVER CONNELL MIDDLETOWN - Lola Weaver Connell, age 100, formerly of Sterling, passed away October 16, 2010. Lola was born April 27, 1910 in Sterling to Ferguson M. and Laura (Weaver) Reed. Lola was an office secretary for Frantz Manufacturing for 10 years. Lola is survived by her son, Philip (Rita) Connell, of Middletown, OH; two granddaughters, Portia Connell and Melissa Wilson; three grandsons, Aaron and Benjamin Connell and Eric Schneider; five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew, Tiffany, Marina and Taryn; and a brother, Bud Reed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Connell; a brother, Donald Reed; and two sisters, Mildred, Marie, Marian and Evelyn. A visitation and Celebration of Life Service was held Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home in Middletown, OH. Graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 25, 2010 at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, with Reverend Paul Judd of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
