Obituary of Helen Snow

HELEN M. SNOW STERLING - Helen M. Snow, 95, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at her home. Helen was born December 3, 1914, the daughter of John and Edith (Kaesebier) Wagenknecht. She married Eugene Snow on March 9, 1935 in Sterling. He preceded her in death on September 20, 1993 Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl (Norman) Hollenberg, of Dixon; two sons, Dr. Jack (Sandy) Snow, of Springfield, MO, and Dennis (Teresa) Snow, of Rock Falls; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Wayne Snow, and four brothers, William, Reynold, Edward and Thomas Wagenknecht. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Schilling Funeral Home with Reverend Christina Berry of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, Saturday at the Funeral Home, prior to services.
