Obituary of Clara Huebener

CLARA H. HUEBENER STERLING - Clara H. Huebener, 92, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Four Seasons Living Center in Morrison. Clara was born April 15, 1918 in Tinley Park, the daughter of Albert and Emily (Meyer) Koehler. She married Fred Huebener on November 16, 1941 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Coopers Grove. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1984. Clara was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sterling. Survivors include one daughter, Sharon (Larry) Johnson, of Sterling; seven grandchildren, Lisa (David) Bora, Michelle Becker, Lucas (Ashley) Halcomb, Dawn (Jerry Kelly) Johnson, Lance (Carol) Johnson, Jared Johnson and Brent (Rebecca) Johnson; and five great-grandchildren, Riis Johnson, Summer Johnson, Garrett Johnson, Mary Halcomb and Chloe Halcomb. She was also preceded in death by a son, William Huebener. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 10, 2011 at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Patrick Pinion, officiating. A graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at St. John's Cemetery in Buckley. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, Monday, at the Church, prior to services.
