PAMELA S. POSTERNACK STERLING - Pamela S. Posternack, 49, of Galt, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at CGH Medical Center. Pamela was born June 29, 1961 in Sterling, the daughter of Verlyn and Bertha (Frislad) Cox. Survivors include her husband, Richard; her mother, Bertha; seven daughters, Amanda (Tommy) Fortune, of Sterling; Julia Hammelman, of Ottumwa, IA, Ashley Hammelman, of Rockford, Aleena and Carolynn Hammelman, both of Sterling and Brooklynn and Jacquelynn, both of Galt; three sons, Lucas Hammelman, of Firestone, CO and Samuel and Silas Hammelman, both of Rock Falls; two sisters, Debbie (Bruce) Harmon, of Marseilles and Vickie (Eloy) Martinez, of Houston TX; one brother Jan (Tonya) Cox of RockFalls; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Verlyn and brother, Bruce Cox. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls with Dalmus Meeks, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM, Friday, February 11, 2011, at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneralhome.com.
