Obituary of Irene Wadsworth

IRENE CAROLYN WADSWORTH MARIETTA, GA - Mrs. Irene Carolyn Boldt Wadsworth, age 96, formerly of Sterling, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011. She was born July 13, 1914 in Elgin, the daughter of the late Mrs. Mary Henrietta Boldt and Mr. Walter Boldt of Elgin, Illinois. She was a long-standing member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Marietta, Georgia and was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Joanne Wadsworth Kelley of Douglasville, Georgia; and Georgia Wadsworth Ingraham and husband, Tony Ingraham of Tucson, Arizona; two grandsons, Tommy Griffiths and David Ahmad; two great-grandsons, Hunter Griffiths and Alan Griffiths. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Donald Wadsworth on May 29, 2007; son, Billy Wadsworth; son-in-law, Kel Kelley on January 28, 2008; and brother, Benjamin Boldt. Funeral Services were held Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Douglasville, Georgia. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling, conducted by Schilling Funeral Home.
