Obituary of Marjorie France

MARJORIE E. FRANCE STERLING - Marjorie E. France, 84, died Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Asta Care Center of Elgin. She was employed as an assembler for GE for many years. Marjorie was born November 22, 1926 in Sterling, the daughter of Eugene and Lela (Carlsen) Reed. Survivors include one daughter, Diana (Charles) Gregory, of St. Charles; two sisters, Lucille Haines, of California, and Donna DeGroot, of Rock Falls; one brother-in-law, Jerome Dryjanski, of Joliet; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jerrie Dryjanski, and one sister, Jeanette McBride. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, June 17, 2011 at Schilling Funeral Home with Pastor Nancy Weingartner of Wesley United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 12-1 PM, Friday, prior to services. A memorial has been established.
