Marilyn J. Sutkay Sterling - Marilyn J. Sutkay, 79, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at her home. Marilyn was born May 30, 1932 in Flint, MI, the daughter of Roscoe and Clara (Burris) Lee. She married Robert J. Sutkay on December 15, 1951 at the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Flint, MI. She was a volunteer for the CGH Auxiliary, in the gift shop and Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed golf, bowling and playing cards. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Sterling. Survivors include her husband, Robert; two daughters, Susan (Thomas) Lamberson, Verona, WI, and Julie (Stephen) Desidero, Pewaukee, WI; four sons, Robert (Lorraine) Sutkay and Dale (Diane) Sutkay, both of Sterling, David (Alice) Sutkay, of Roscoe, and Steven (Colleen) Sutkay, Yorkville; two sisters, Carolyn (Howard) Veenhuis, Cheboygan, MI, and Mary Trevarrow, Flushing, MI; one brother, Paul (Carol) Lee, Fort Worth, TX; twenty-four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, James Lee. Services will be held at 10 AM Monday, October 3, 2011, at Schilling Funeral Home with Reverend Christina Berry of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 PM at the Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to the Alzheimer's Association.
