Obituary of Gloria Mitchell

STERLING- Gloria K. Mitchell, 66, of Sterling, died Monday, December 22, 2014. She was employed at Wahl Clipper, prior to retirement. Gloria was born on April 29, 1948, in Aurora, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Josephine (Glover) Mitchell. She was a member of the First Church of Nazarene in Sterling. Survivors include two sons, Mike Walters, of Sterling, and Shane (Mary Fluegel) Gray, of Hillsdale; one sister, Vicki (Andy) Conderman, of Amboy; two brothers, Earl Mitchell of Peoria, and Robert Mitchell Jr., of Yorkville; and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, December 29, 2014, at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling. Burial will be at a later date. Cremation will be accorded. Visitation will be held from 9- 11AM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneralhome.com.
