STERLING- Patricia A. Hubbard, 84, of Sterling, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at CGH Medical Center. Patricia was born on June 26, 1930, in Sterling, the daughter of Ralph and Della (Salmon) Smith. She married John R. Hubbard on March 15, 1950 in Rock Falls. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2006. She was a member of First Christian Church in Sterling. Survivors include three sons, John (Becky) Hubbard, Jr., of Peoria, Russell (Pauly) Hubbard, of Adeline, and Michael (Donna) Hubbard, of Lake City, FL; one sister, Carol (James) Seavey, of Lowell, AR; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10 AM at First Christian Church in Sterling, with Reverend Courtney Montgomery Chandler officiating. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 10 AM prior to the service. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Park, Sterling. Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling is handling arrangements. A memorial has been established to First Christian Church and CGH Love on Leash program. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneralhome.com.
