Obituary of Melvin Reglin

MELVIN L. REGLIN STERLING- Melvin L. Reglin, 85, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Sterling Pavilion. He owned and operated Reglin Janitorial and Supply. Melvin was born January 18, 1927 in Rock Falls, the son of Carl and Marie (Dickey) Reglin. He served in the Unites States Army during WWII. He married Dorothy Mundt on July 17, 1948 in Sterling. Survivors include his wife Dorothy Reglin of Sterling; two daughters, Susan Reglin of Rock Falls and Barbara (Mike) Downey of Nachusa; two sons Melvin (Bibi) Reglin and Clark (Mardie) Reglin, both of Sterling; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Peggy Reglin in infancy; two brothers; Glen and Lawrence Reglin and two brothers in infancy, Earl and Loyd. Graveside services with military rites will be held at 1:30 PM Monday at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling with Reverend Brian Vickers, pastor of Rock River Christian Center, Rock Falls.
