Obituary of Beverly J Shuman

Beverly J. Shuman, 55, died, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Peoria. Beverly was born February 20, 1960 in Dixon, the daughter of Lorin and Joyce (Zumdahl) Gatz. She married Ronald Shuman on June 21, 1980 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Polo. Throughout her life she has worked as a floral designer. Currently she provided in home housekeeping for area residents. Survivors include her husband Ronald of Polo; one daughter, Katie (Curt) Mottaz of Farmington; two sons, Curtis Shuman of Williamsfield and David Shuman of Polo; her parents, Lorin and Joyce Gatz of Polo; and one sister, Jan (Bradley) Folkers of Polo. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 19, 2015 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Polo with the Reverend Terrie Wilder, officiating. Visitation will be held from 3-6 PM Sunday, at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded and private burial will be at a later date.
