STERLING- Maurice C. Scholl, 95, of Sterling, died November 29, 2015.
Maurice was born October 4, 1920 in Dixon, the son of Clark and Ethel (Palmer) Scholl. He married Marcella Liechty on September 1, 1946 in Berne IN. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2007.
Survivors include one daughter Beth Ann (John) Oujiri of Ashland WI; three sons Harvey Scholl of Sterling, Duane (Kathryn) Scholl of Polo, and David (Kay) Scholl of Galesburg; one brother Irvin (Laverne) Scholl of Polo; three sisters Gladys Bain of Orland Park, Phyllis (Howard) Chana of Orange City FL, and Irene Reynolds of Puyallup WA; four sister in-laws of Berne, IN; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Maurice was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, with burial to follow at Science Ridge Mennonite Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be Tuesday December 1, 2015, from 5-7:30PM at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, Sterling.
A memorial has been established to MCC Meat Canner, and Galesburg Rescue Mission.
