Kathryn L. Hufford, died Thursday, March 3, 2016 at CGH Medical Center. She was a cashier at the former Eagle’s Supermarket in Rock Falls for many years. Kathryn was born September 27, 1934 in Salem, Arkansas the daughter of Shalor and Jannie Barnett. She married Donald Pollock on January 28, 1952. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1979. She married Charles Hufford on July 18, 1981 in Rochelle. Survivors include one daughter, Donna Norman of Rock Falls; one son, Leonard Allen ( ) Pollock of Rock Falls; one brother Gaston Barnett two sisters, Zelda Owens and Levita Gibson, both of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Jason Norman, Jennifer Norman and David Pollock and seven great-grandchildren, Ashley Norman, Austin Norman, Autumn Norman, David Barnett, Logan Milburn, Tori Pollock and Mackenzie Pollock. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Otis Barnett. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, Sterling with the Reverend David Beebe, officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM to 11AM Monday, prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at Coloma Township Cemetery, Rock Falls. A memorial has been established.
