Manuel Rivera, 41, of Rock Falls, died Monday, March 14, 2016 at Loyola University Hospital. He was presently employed by Mallard Manufacturing, Sterling. Manuel was born June 12, 1974 in Sterling, the son of Manuel and Elma (Rodriguez) Rivera. Survivors include his mother, Elma of Rock Falls, his fiancé, Jenelle Leblanc of Rock Falls; three daughters, Nevaeh, Mia and Nadiya Rivera, all of Rock Falls; one son, Manuel Rivera III of Rock Falls, one sister, Kristela (Luis) Veloz of Rock Falls and one brother, Karlos (Carrie Mahar) Rivera of Sterling.Nieces and Nephews Xenya Rivera, Alex Rivera, Sophia Rivera, Samuel Rivera, and Mila Veloz. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Rivera; paternal and maternal grandparents. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Rock Falls, with Monsignor Thomas Dzielak, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Friday at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling.
