ROCK FALLS- Steven L. Armoska, 55, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at University of Iowa Hospital.

     Steven was born October 16, 1962 in Sterling, the son of Eugene and Joanne (Stevens) Armoska. He was a machinist at Rotary Airlock. Steve was a devoted father and grandfather who lived for his kids and the Chicago Cubs.

    Survivors include one daughter, Jenna (Gabe Guerrero) Armoska of Rock Falls two sons, Steven M. Armoska of Rock Falls and Brock Armoska of Streator; three sisters, Christine Coppotelli of Sterling, Susan (Ed) Adami of Rock Falls and Kimberly (Carl) Stingley of Sterling; one brother, Michael (Lynnsey) Armoska of Cherry Valley; one grandchild Bryant and his sibling due in May 2018; and several nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by one daughter, Samantha Jo Armoska; his parents and one sister, Sharon Armoska.

    Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Thursday, November 2, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Reverend James Keenan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 5PM-8PM Wednesday at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling. Please join the family in wearing Cubs attire for the visitation.

     A memorial has been established to his children.
