Obituary of Sebastian Smythe

STERLING- Sebastian Smythe, was born September 2, 1968 in Chicago to the union of Willie and Georgia Smythe.  He was called home on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center of Rockford.

           Sebastian affectionately known as Sammy was a fighter.  

Born with Cerebral Palsy, Sammy's life expectancy was only one year. Defying all odds Sammy lived a full life. For over 30 years he resided at Exceptional Care and Training Center in Sterling IL where he touched the hearts of many.

          Survivors include, his mother Georgia Hill; one brother, Omar Hill Sr. of Darien IL; one niece Moriah Hill and one nephew, Omar Hill Jr.

         He was preceded in death by his dad Lonnie Hill; and a host of Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

    Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling with Reverend Larry Harts officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM - 11AM at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling prior to Graveside Servcies at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling.

A memorial has been established.
