MARY KATHERINE MCGONIGLE

ROCK FALLS-Mary Katherine McGonigle, 88 of Rock Falls, died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at CGH Medical Center.

     Mary was born on November 11, 1929 in Walnut Hill IL, the daughter of John J. and Daisy B. Hiltibidal (Howard). She married Kent McGonigle on July 5, 1952 in Dixon.

     Survivors include grandson, Jacob Wiederanders and Kelly Lynch; great granddaughter, Lilly Lynch; brothers, Gerald (Jerry) and wife Nancy Hiltibidal of Leroy IL and James Rodney and wife Joyce (Hiltibidal) of Oceana, WV; sisters, Shirley Hill of Savanna and Sandra and husband Phillip Venezia of Centralia IL.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Kent McGonigle in 2014; daughter, Linda Wiederanders in 1992; son Kelly McGonigle in 2014; infant brother and mother and father.

     Visitation will be from 10-11, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling. Funeral service will be at 11 AM, following visitation. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling.

     A memorial has been established to RRDA.
