CHARLES SEIDEL

ROCK FALLS- Charles Seidel, 84, of Rock Falls, died, Monday, January 22, 2018 at Windsor Manor of Morrison.

Charles was born August 7, 1933 in Sterling, the son of Harry and Mabel (Moede) Seidel. He married Eleanor Decker on February 14, 1953 in Rock Falls. She preceded him in death on February 10, 2017.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy (Dennis) Celletti of Springfield; three brothers David (Janis) Seidel, Jim Seidel, and Larry Seidel; one grandson, Jason (Tracy) Celletti;  one great-granddaughter Milana Celletti; two step great-grandchildren, Clayton Hadley and Brooke Hadley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two brothers, Harry Jr and Paul Seidel; three sisters, Doris Quilhot, Rosie Keime, and Shirley Wright.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling, with Pastor Gary Dekoekkoek officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM-10:15AM prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling.

A memorial has been established to the Bethel Reformed Church.
