BEULAH BELLE GANTHER STERLING-Beulah Belle Ganther, 76, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at CGH Medical Center. She was employed as an RN for many years prior to retirement. Beulah Belle was born February 23, 1936 in Dixon the daughter of Francis and Ruth (Leach) Biggs. She married Otto H. Ganther on September 18, 1955 in Dixon. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2000. She was a member of First Christian Church of Sterling. Survivors include five sons, Duane (Sandra) Ganther of East Moline, Lyle (Joan) Ganther of Tiskilwa, Reverend Paul (Reverend Rachel) Ganther of Granbury, TX, Ronald (Lauren) Ganther of El Paso and Larry (Sondra Myer) Ganther of Sterling; one brother, Dale (Lavon) Biggs of Dixon; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, June 29, 2012 at First Christian Church, Sterling with the Reverend David Yonker, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 8:30 - 10:30 AM, prior to services at the church. A memorial has been established to First Christian Church of Sterling. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneralhome.com.
