Obituary of Ana Maria Rodriguez

STERLING- Ana Maria Rodriguez, 94, of Sterling died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Rock River Hospice and Home.

    Ana was born July 29, 1923 in Isabela, Puerto Rico the daughter of Santos Quinones and Clemencia Maldonado (Torres) Vasquez. She married Juan C. Rodriguez on April 11, 1942 in Isabela, Puerto Rico. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1996.

    Survivors include five daughters, Delia (Dan) Runion of Linden, TN, Juanita Garza of Sterling, Margarita (Harold, Jr.) Packer of Fenton, Annette (Arturo) Roman of Belvidere, Ivett (Greg) Radke of Carol Stream; three sons, Fernando (Mary) Rodriguez and Hector (Cindy) Rodriguez, both of Sterling and Ruben (Carol) Rodriguez of Justin, TX; two daughter-in-laws, Rita Rodriguez of Portland, OR and Colleen Rodriguez of Tucson, AZ; twenty-seven grandchildren; forty-eight great grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Juan; one daughter, Carmen; four sons, Victor, Hector, Eddie Nelson Rodriguez and Luis Angel Rodriguez and three brothers, Santos Quinones Miguel Quinones and Sixto.

  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, June 4, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling with Daniel Rivera, pastor of Gethsemane Baptist Church, Sterling. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to funeral 10-11 AM Monday.

  A memorial has been established to Rock River Hospice & Home, and Gethsemane Baptist Church.
