Obituary of Penny Helms

STERLING- Penny Helms, 57, of Sterling, died, Friday, June 8, 2018 at her home.

Penny was born March 28, 1961 in Freeport. She married Kendal Helms on June 27, 1981 in Sterling.

Survivors include her husband Kendal Helms of Sterling; two sons, Jacob (Carene) Helms of Savanna, and Christopher (Stephanie) Helms of Yorktown VA; two daughters, Amanda (Patrick) Costello of Dixon, and Courtney (Brian) Hawk of Fenton; three brothers; six sisters and ten grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Elvin and Louise Bass; and Mother in-law Doris Helms and Father in-law Arlo Helms.

           Funeral services will be 10:30 AM  Friday June 15, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling, with the Pastor Jeff Coester officiating. Visitation will be Thursday June 14, 2018 from 5PM-7PM at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling.

A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
