ROCK FALLS - Joan Rosene, 75, died, Friday, June 15, 2018 at her home.

Joan was born on September 18, 1942 in Maywood, the daughter of William and Ann (Erl) Steger. She married Vernon Rosene on June 25, 2003 in Wheaton.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon Rosene of Rock Falls; two daughters, Dawn (Al) Klessman of Lockport and Sharon Dodge of Spring Valley; two sons, Roy (Cindy) Dodge of Lisle and Rick (Sherrylee) Dodge of South Elgin; two sisters, Susan (Bob) Polay of Villa Park and Anne Schwiek of Naperville; five brothers, Robert (Susan) Steger of China, Gary (Heather) Steger of Forest Park, Bill Steger of MI, Joe Steger of Vermont and Kenny (Donna) Steger of Westmont and ten grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband Roy Dodge, Sr. in 2002.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial Service to be held at a later date.

A memorial has been established to Happy Tails.
