MORRISON-Darrell G. House, 84, of Morrison, died Monday, August 6, 2018 at Resthave Home, Morrison.

    Darrell was born March 6, 1934 in Sterling, the son of  Paul and Lauretta (Chapman) House Sr. He married Shirley Conner on June 26, 1953 in Morrison.

    Survivors include his wife Shirley of Morrison; two daughters, Sherry (Bob) Martin of Denver, CO, Jackie (Ron) Herberg of Andalusia; four sons, Steve (Jennifer) House of Norfolk, VA. Bill (Linda) House of Rock Falls, Brian (Jeanie) House of Morrison and Chris (Kris) House of Rock Falls; one sister,  Diana (Doug) Sisson of Sterling and three brothers Rick (Jana) House, of Sterling, Doug (Rose) House of Sterling and Jerry (Carol) House of Morrison; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul House, Jr.

    Funeral services will be held at 10AM Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Bethel Reformed Church, Sterling with Reverend Gary Dekoekkoek, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling.

    A memorial has been established.
