Obituary of Cindy Filloon

    Cindy Filloon, 69, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at CGH Medical Center. She was the owner of Cindy’s Snack Shack and a Realtor in the area for many years.

    Cindy was born March 9, 1949 in Rock Falls, the daughter of Leroy Kenneth Shanafelt and Elaine Edythe (Meenen) Wright. She married Al Filloon on February 7, 2007 in Las Vegas.

  Survivors include her husband, Al of Rock Falls; two daughters, Brandi (Corey) Langner of Sterling and Amber Goldie of Polo; two step-daughters, Lynnsey (Jason) Larson of Sterling and Jeanette Wallace of TX; two brothers, Larry Wright of Cape Coral, FL and Terry Shanafelt of Thompson; grandchildren, Jordann Langner, Abigail Langner and Emma Landis, all of Sterling and Hayden Goldie of Polo; step grandchildren, Olivia, Blake and Izzy Larson all of Sterling; and one-great grandchild, Eleanor Langner.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Karolynn Mager; two brothers, Ronald Shanafelt and Barry Wright.

   Funeral Services will be held at 4PM on Saturday September 1, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, with Stacie Fidlar of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Rock Island, officiating. Visitation will be from 2PM-4PM  prior to services at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be at a later date at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling.

    A memorial has been established.
