Obituary of Elsie M. Bradley

STERLING- Elsie M. Bradley, 91, of Sterling, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at her home.

    Elsie was born September 13, 1926 in Tiskilwa, the daughter of Frank and Bertha (Bell) Lund. She married Gale Bradley on February 14, 1969 in Sterling. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Sterling.

    Survivors include her husband, Gale of Sterling; three daughters, Gwen Lucas, Diana (Tim) Lauff and Rhonda Knowles-Lucas, all of Sterling; three step-daughters, Patricia Zigler and Phyllis (Jeff) Berge, both of Rock Falls and Pamela (Keith) Medema of Sterling; one brother, Paul Lund of Sterling; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Demetra “Mechi” Lund.

    Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling with pastor Brad Wilson, officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Thursday, prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling.

    A memorial has been established to Gaffey Hospice.
