STERLING- Stanley Paul Hodge passed away November 8, 2018 at his home after a short illness.

Stan was born in Sterling, IL to Chester and Nina (Louhaug) Hodge on November 20, 1949.  He attended Sterling schools, graduating high school in 1967.

He was a member of the Illinois National Guard, the TRI County Gun Club and a NRA member. He enjoyed trap shooting and other firearms and ultra-light aircraft. He was employed at Orouka Aviation at Whiteside County Airport and then at Northwestern Steel and Wire Co. retiring after 33 years of service.

Stan is survived by one brother, Kenneth (Judy) Hodge of Rock Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in passing by his parents; one sister, Karen (Mike) Thomas of Rock Falls.

He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Cremation Rites have been accorded by Schilling Funeral Home of Sterling. Graveside service will take place at a later date.
